CrossFit Invictus: Legendary CrossFit Gyms

CrossFit Invictus has earned its place as a legend in the CrossFit affiliate space. For that reason, it’s the first featured gym in our Legendary CrossFit Gym series. Owner CJ Martin first started training athletes in 2009.

Since then, the gym has built an outstanding reputation. Invictus boasts five locations from sea to sea. They’ve sent over fifty athletes to the CrossFit Games in ten years. Affiliate athletes have ten top-five ‘Fittest on Earth’ finishes. Their methodologies, one could argue, are second to none.

Invictus started in San Diego. Their flagship gym, now at a 15,000 square foot location, is one of the smoothest-run affiliates in the world.

Invictus Content

Martin and team have been reliable creators of CrossFit content for years. Their training programs span from conventional to specialty group sessions. The Invictus schedule boasts olympic, strength, competitive, endurance, adaptive, and fundamental classes. They enhance those resources with extra content on their blog and YouTube channel.

The Invictus blog is a fantastic resource for athletes with a hunger for knowledge. It posts daily content from all their staff members. Topics include everything from improving specific movements to cooking and nutrition advice.

YouTube Channel

This affiliate sets the standard for video experiences. Their extensive YouTube channel has over 23,000 subscribers and more than 150 videos. Examples of great content are their weekly workout guides during the CrossFit Open. Invictus also runs some great series, like Road to the Games, and Inside Invictus.

On top of the blog and YouTube channel, Invictus posts three daily workouts. They do this to accommodate athletes for general fitness, performance, and competitive goals.
